Rydal Elementary School students participated in numerous activities during Black History Month including classroom lessons, assemblies, and a school-wide Read-in Chain where all books were either written or illustrated by African American Men and Women.
Shown here are photographs of quilts of famous African Americans made by our first and sixth grade students, as well as silhouettes of Dr. Martin Luther King created by kindergarten, and photos from our Read-in Chain where older students read to younger Rydal students.
