Award-winning children’s author and illustrator Bryan Collier visited Roslyn Elementary School this week to speak about his work with the students at Roslyn. Mr. Collier has over thirty-two published works and is a Caldecott Honor recipient as well as the recipient of the Coretta Scott King Honor for Illustrations for children’s literature. Mr. Collier shared his passion for his artwork and encouraged the students to “slow down and pay attention to the details” and to follow their passion. It was an exciting and entertaining day for all! Mr. Collier is planning to visit other Abington Schools this week.
