Due to the current disaster emergency declared by Governor Wolf by Proclamation dated March 6, 2020, and the July 15, 2020 Executive Order related thereto limiting in person gatherings, and in consideration of the health and safety of the school community, notice is hereby given that the Abington Board of School Directors (the “Board”) shall conduct its regularly scheduled Board meetings in a hybrid manner at the Administration Building that is located at 970 Highland Avenue, Abington, PA 19001. The Regular Meetings of the Board will be convened using a virtual meeting platform on February 9 and February 23, 2021 at 7:30 p.m. The meetings will be accessible to the public through the Abington School District’s publicly accessible website www.abington.k12.pa.us.
The public Board meetings will be streamed live on the Abington School District YouTube channel at 7:30 p.m. (https://www.youtube.com/AbingtonSchoolDistrict/live). Directions for connection to and public participation in the meeting are posted at that publicly accessible website. Additionally, comments may be mailed to the District at 970 Highland Avenue, Abington, PA 19001. The meeting shall be recorded and accessible on the District’s website to allow those members of the public that cannot participate to review the proceeding at a later time. The Board reserves the right to entertain any and all such matters that may be properly brought before it at the meeting. This notice is posted pursuant to the applicable provisions of the Sunshine Act, 65 Pa.C.S. § 701, et seq.
