The Board of Directors of the Foundation for Abington School District will meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2020. Due to Governor Wolf’s COVID-19 Disaster Emergency Proclamation and the related restrictions on in-person gatherings, and out of concern for the health and safety of the school community, the meeting will be streamed live on the Abington School District YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/AbingtonSchoolDistrict/live
Abington School District residents, taxpayers, and school district employees who wish to provide public comment on the agenda for the June 30, 2020, meeting should submit them via email. Comments will be accepted up until 6:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting at the following email address: June30FASDMeeting@abington.k12.pa.us. Emails should include the citizen’s name and address in order to be included as part of the meeting’s public record. Please note that all comments, including identification of the citizen, will be read aloud. Comments received to the email box after 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 will be read during the second period of comments from citizens.
The meeting shall be recorded and accessible on the District’s website and cable channel-posted no later than Friday, July 3, 2020-to allow those members of the public who cannot participate to review the proceeding at a later time.
