Abington’s Boys and Girls Basketball teams have advanced to the District 1 Class 6A Championship games on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at The Pavilion at Villanova University.
The Varsity A / Spirit Club and Athletics will offer a Fan Bus for STUDENT spectators to the District One Championship games. The Fan Bus will be for BOTH the Girls AND Boys games – for Abington students.
Students can sign-up for the Fan Bus during their lunches on Friday, March 3rd. Cost for the Fan Bus is $10, and this includes both the ticket and transportation. The $10 is due at time of sign-up.
Buses will depart the high school at 4:30PM for the following contests:
- Class 6A Girls Basketball Championship – Abington vs. Plymouth Whitemarsh with 6:00 P.M. tip-off
- Class 6A Boys Basketball Championship – Abington vs. Coatesville with 8:00 P.M. tip-off
The Fan Bus is ONLY for students. Students are required to return to the high school on the Fan Bus. Students are to park in the Student Lot on Saturday afternoon.
NO backpacks will be permitted at Villanova.
The Athletic Department will be selling reserved seating for adults until Friday at 2:00 PM. Cost of all tickets is $10. Villanova will NOT charge for parking.
