Copper Beech students attended a whole-school assembly today where they celebrated the life and teachings of Dr, Martin Luther King, Jr. and learned what they can do to live his dream through demonstrating C.A.R.E.S. (Cooperation, Attitude, Respect, Empathy, and Safety) and resolving conflicts peacefully. Students performed songs and poems for peace and watched a video reminder of the school’s anti-bullying rules. Students who exemplified the values of Dr. King were recognized with Peace Awards.
