Roslyn Elementary School celebrated American Education Week with Roslyn students and parents engaging in a variety of activities ranging from math games, book report presentations, to hands-on lessons about the community and school.
American Education Week presented all Americans with a wonderful opportunity to celebrate public education and honor individuals who are making a difference in ensuring that every child receives a quality education. At Roslyn Elementary School, parents/guardians were provided with the opportunity to visit students’ classrooms and observe the great things happening there.
The theme for this year was “Great Public Schools: A Basic Right and Our Responsibility.”
